Our company is part of Microsoft’s New Dynamics Connector Release Beta Program. We are actively involved in testing and developing the new dynamics connector product to help better integrate our customer’s front / back office dynamics applications. I am happy to provide you with some details on the new connector!
The Connector for Microsoft Dynamics is an integration solution that hooks from Dynamics CRM 2011 to Dynamics ERP Solutions: GP, NAV, AX, SL. The purpose of the connector is to integrate sales activity to and from the ERP application to help better forecast and manage a company financials. The tool helps automate the data flow of sales activity in specific directions based on record type. The chart below helps demonstrate the supported data flow.

The Dynamics Connector 6.0 was effective, but could not support specific CRM 2011 configurations. For support of these configurations, Microsoft releaseed an updated version of the Dynamics Connector.
The new Dynamics Connector Release supports the following
scenarios:
- Internet Facing Deployments, Hosted Environments (Partner), Office 365 CRM Deployments
- Data Source Filtering
- SL 2011 Integration
- ERP Configuration and Install Documentation
- Updated EULA to allow integrations between 1 dynamic’s product.
Supported operating systems: Windows 7, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Small Business Server 2003 , Windows Small Business Server 2008 Premium, Windows Small Business Server 2008 Standard , Windows Vista, Windows XP
