IT Process Assessment
Based on industry best-practices models such as ITIL and Six Sigma, Emtec Federal IT Process Assessments examine your IT processes and recommend areas for improvement. IT process improvements begin with assessing and understanding your existing process, your capabilities and resources – and understanding corresponding best practices. Emtec Federal consultants lead you through a defined methodology to assess the relative maturity of specific IT processes. Documentation is reviewed and interview sessions are conducted to rate both the effectiveness as well as the efficiency of targeted processes against an ideal state. The process assessment results and an action plan are provided in a format best suited to your needs; ranging from a casual "good, OK or needs work" recommendation format to a full-blown Six Sigma®-type evaluation using the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology.
