Emtec Acquires Software Consulting Company, SARK Infotech

Marlton, NJ - Emtec, Inc. (OTCBB: ETEC), a systems integrator, today announced that it has acquired SARK Infotech, a software consulting company based in Mumbai, India. This acquisition significantly complements Emtec’s ability to deliver application development and integration projects. SARK’s delivery capabilities will be integrated into Emtec’s operations and expand Emtec’s footprint in Asia. Now, with offices in both Mumbai and Bangalore, Emtec offers an expanded global delivery model through a mix of onshore and offshore development centers.

SARK also has capabilities to provide embedded software development for Network Processing Unit (NPU) based networking software, wireless applications for handhelds and PDAs, device drivers and other devices and components. The expertise in these areas will allow Emtec to provide a wide array of solutions for its customers using web and mobile technologies simultaneously.
