Emtec Announces Appointment of Sunil Misra as President and Chief Operating Officer

Radnor, PA – Emtec, Inc., a leading provider of technology-empowered business solutions for world-class organizations, announces the appointment of Sunil Misra as President and Chief Operating Officer of Emtec, Inc. effective November 1st, 2013.

Bringing more than 25 years of IT consulting and leadership experience, Mr. Misra will oversee daily operations and overall leadership of the organization. Mr. Misra will lead and have full profit and loss responsibilities for all Emtec service lines and business units. Additionally, he will lead corporate, shared functions including Sales, Marketing, Human Resources and Operations. Mr. Misra will continue to report directly to Mr. Dinesh Desai, CEO and Chairman of Emtec.

Mr. Misra joined the organization in 2009 as Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer. Before Emtec, Mr. Misra managed large, global complex businesses across the IT services spectrum. Previously, he was the vice president at Getronics (now part of KPN and Compucom) leading their consulting division. Prior to his role at Getronics, he held a number of senior executive roles with global responsibilities at Unisys including vice president and managing partner. Mr. Misra holds his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) in New York.

Mr. Misra will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors, elected in February 2012.
