Emtec, Inc. and Sungard Availability Services Enter into Reseller Agreement

Radnor, PA – Emtec, Inc., a leading provider of technology-empowered business solutions for world-class organizations, announced today at Oracle OpenWorld, a global partnership with Sungard® Availability Services™ (Sungard AS) in which Emtec will offer Sungard AS’ hosting and managed, private cloud solutions to its client base.

Sungard AS is a leading provider of information availability through managed IT, cloud and recovery services. Over and above their infrastructure and platform based solutions, Emtec and Sungard AS will leverage these capabilities to deliver best-of-breed Managed Oracle and SAP Application Services. Sungard AS provides Managed Oracle Services via the hardware and software platform pre-certified by Oracle known as Red Stack, and is certified for SAP Hosting, Cloud and HANA.

As an example, Emtec’s Oracle-based clients now can choose between three options for delivery including, on premise, Public Cloud through the Oracle SaaS model, and now a hybrid option- Private Cloud via Sungard AS, or a mix of these offerings.
