Emtec, Inc. Announces New Board Members

Springfield, NJ. – Emtec, Inc. (OTCQB: ETEC) (“Emtec” or the “Company”), a systems integrator, announced that it has appointed two new members to the Board of Directors of the Company effective December 1, 2011. The two new members, Chris Formant and Sunil Misra, will join the four existing members to bring the board membership to six, three of whom are independent.

Chris Formant is currently a Senior Vice President of Avaya Inc. and President, Avaya Government Solutions, a position he has held since August 2010. He joined Avaya in February 2008. Prior to assuming his current position he served as the Senior Vice President of Avaya Inc. and President, Avaya Global Services. Chris was previously Executive Vice President and Executive Committee Member at Bearing Point, Inc. from February 2003 to January 2008. Prior to BearingPoint, he served as CEO of the technology consulting firm Scient, as senior partner and global banking leader at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and executive vice president at MBNA Corp. Chris received his MBA from George Washington University and his BS from Washington and Lee University.

Sunil Misra currently serves as Emtec’s Chief Strategy & Delivery Officer, a position he has held since October 2009. Prior to joining Emtec, Sunil was a recognized IT industry leader with CEO positions at two boutique strategy consulting firms, Vice President at Getronics, NA., a number of senior executive roles with global responsibilities at Unisys Corporation, various positions with Credit Suisse First Boston and Skantek Corporation. Sunil received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi, India and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, respectively.
