Wave6 Launches New Practice Area for Salesforce Analytics Cloud

Wave6, a subsidiary of Emtec, announced the launch of their dedicated Salesforce Analytics Cloud Practice today while at the annual Dreamforce conference in San Francisco. Wave6, a division of Emtec, is an alliance partner of salesforce.com that focuses on the Optimization and Expansion of business applications on the Salesforce1 platform. Wave6 has been working with GE Capital on their pre-release pilot of the Salesforce Analytics Cloud product.

John Sabino, Senior Vice President of Commercial Excellence at GE, stated “Salesforce Analytics Cloud provides our sales leadership a global view of their pipeline with unprecedented analysis and data visualization capabilities. Wave6 teamed with us to help implement and provide the enhanced analytics through our pilot Analytics Cloud project. We continue to look to them as a value added partner.”

The practice will be led by Wave6 Practice Director Thomas Copenhaver, who has years of experience in the Salesforce.

Greg Lewis, President of Wave6 is particularly excited about the launch of the new Salesforce product. Greg has a deep technology background including running multiple business intelligence practices that leverage Oracle and Microsoft technologies. When asked about the name Wave6 and if it is related to the “Salesforce Analytics Cloud Powered by Wave”, Greg grins, “Pure coincidence but great conversation starter.”

Wave6 has a number of internal initiatives underway including Salesforce Analytics Cloud for Oracle In partnership with their parent company Emtec, an Oracle Platinum Partner. The intellectual property being built on Salesforce Analytics Cloud will combine Salesforce data with operational analytics from Oracle ERP and BI applications. With multiple new pilots in the works, Wave6 is positioned to be a clear leader in a new ecosystem of Salesforce Analytics Cloud partners.
