The Client: A division of the Department of Defense, consisting of ten major commands needed to streamline the process of tracking the different pay entitlements for its personnel stationed around the world.
Business Problem : The client needed to automate their deployment entitlements process to reduce the manual work required by their personnel – making sure their focus remained on their task at hand.
Solution :Emtec worked with the client to develop an online pay entitlements processing application with a Windows GUI and expanded historical and data and reporting functionality.
Results : The on-line processing application has streamlined the pay entitlement process, dropping error rates, reducing staff hours and saving over $1 million annually.
