Mr. Desai has been Emtec’s Executive Chairman of the Board since August 2005 and served as Emtec's CEO from 2005 to 2020. Prior to August 2005, Mr. Desai was the Chairman and CEO of DARR Global Holdings, Inc., a management consulting firm. Prior to DARR, Mr. Desai was President, CEO, Co-Chairman and an owner of Western Sky Industries, a privately-held manufacturer of proprietary component parts used primarily in aerospace applications. Western Sky grew from approximately $3 million in revenues to over $170 million prior to being sold to McKechnie in 1999. Before Western Sky, Mr. Desai spent twelve years with American Can and Arco Chemical in various management positions. Mr. Desai holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Bombay, India, and a Masters of Science Degree in both chemical and industrial engineering from Montana State University. He earned a Masters in Business Administration from Temple University. Mr. Desai is also founder and president of the SSBD Desai High School which provides education to underprivileged children in Gujarat, India.
As CEO and President, Mr. Misra is responsible for the oversight of daily operations and overall leadership of the organization. Mr. Misra joined Emtec in November 2009 as Chief Strategy and Delivery Officer. Prior, Mr. Misra was a vice president at Getronics (now part of KPN and Compucom) leading their consulting division. Prior to his role at Getronics, he held a number of senior executive roles with global responsibilities at Unisys including vice president and managing partner. Mr. Misra has also led several other global business lines for Unisys, including the Real Time Infrastructure unit, the Document Management and Workflow business and a systems integration practice. He is a recognized industry expert in the areas of security and privacy, infrastructure, software as a service, and cloud computing. Mr. Misra was a winner of a National Merit Scholarship and received his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi and master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from RPI (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute) in New York. In addition, Mr. Misra currently serves as a member of Emtec's Board of Directors, elected in February 2012.
Mr. Raveret is a senior executive with successful track record of developing and executing growth strategies across the software and services industries. He possesses a strong financial acumen, as well as a deep understanding of the IT services and consulting market. He currently serves as Founder and Managing Director of Cordatus Advisors LLC., a corporate development advisory and outsourcing services firm which provides M&A strategy and readiness, and financial analysis services. Over his career, Mr. Raveret has executed over 50 strategic transactions in multiple countries, representing over $4.0 billion in transaction value and $1.8 billion in revenue. Previously, he served as an integral member of the leadership team that grew Cognizant, a global IT consulting and services firm, to over $14 billion in revenue and $45 billion in market capitalization. Mr. Raveret holds an MBA from the Wharton and graduate from Duke University with a degree in economics and public policy.
Mr. Cowan is an accomplished senior financial executive with approximately 40 years of collective experience consisting of 11 years with PWC and almost 29 years in various industries including exposure to the technical services industry. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and CFO of VWR, a Global supplier and service provider to Scientific, Healthcare and Education segments until his retirement in 2018. Mr. Cowan is currently on the Board of Osmotica Pharmaceuticals and serves as Audit Committee Chairman for the enterprise. He previously served as a member of Emtec’s Board of Directors from 2009 to 2013. Mr. Cowan graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in accounting and finance.
Matt Douglass is an Executive Managing Director and Head of Real Assets for PGIM Private Capital, overseeing the private placement and mezzanine investment activity in energy, power and renewables units as well as the private placement activity in non-energy infrastructure debt and lease-related debt. Prior to assuming the role of Head of Real Assets, he was the Chief Credit Officer. He is also a Partner of Sustainable Power and a Partner of PGIM Capital Partners, the middle-market mezzanine debt and structured equity fund management business, sponsored by PGIM Private Capital. He joined Prudential in 1993. Mr. Douglass received a BA from Swarthmore College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
