Emtec provides a choice of four medical plans, including one PPO plan and three levels of High Deductible Health Plan with HSAs, to which Emtec makes a contribution based on the plan level. Emtec covers 70% of the cost of healthcare plans for all full time associates. All medical plans include prescription coverage.
We also offer two tiers of dental coverage, DHMO and PPO Enhanced and two tiers of vision coverage, Standard and Enhanced.
Emtec offers healthcare and dependent care Flexible Spending Accounts as well as Healthcare Savings Accounts paired with our High Deductible Plans. Emtec contributes to HSAs for those participating in a High Deductible plan. We also offer a transit reimbursement incentive program that allows you to lower your commuting costs by using pre-tax dollars to pay for qualified transportation expenses, such as transit passes and parking.

Emtec offers all full time associates company-paid life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment short term and long term disability coverage.
We also offer additional company-paid programs such as Health Advocate, a healthcare concierge service which assists with claims, referrals and other issues; Teladoc, which provides 24/7 remote access to a doctor for non-emergency consultations; World Traveler health insurance is provided to associates who travel internationally on Emtec business.
