Emtec Announces Appointment of New Board Members and Leadership Transition

Jacksonville, FL, July 8, 2020 - Emtec, Inc., a global IT consultancy, announces the appointment of John Raveret, Gregory Cowan and David E. Fraimow, Esquire to its board of directors effective immediately.

John Raveret is a senior executive with successful track record of developing and executing growth strategies across the software and IT services industries. He possesses a strong financial acumen, as well as a deep understanding of the IT services and consulting market. He currently serves as Founder and Managing Director of Cordatus Advisors LLC., a corporate development advisory and outsourcing services firm. Previously, he served as an integral member of the leadership team that grew Cognizant, a global IT consulting and services firm.

Gregory Cowan is an accomplished senior financial executive with approximately 40 years of collective experience, consisting of 11 years with PWC and almost 29 years in various industries including technical services. He most recently served as Executive Vice President and CFO of VWR, a global supplier and service provider to the scientific, healthcare and education sectors. Mr. Cowan is currently on the Board of Osmotica Pharmaceuticals and serves as a member of the Compensation Committee as well as Audit Committee Chairman for the enterprise.

David E. Fraimow, Esquire is a Senior Managing Director with LBC Credit Partners, responsible for managing a portfolio of LBC's investments, overseeing legal and credit documentation, as well as serving on the firm's Investment Committee. He has more than 30 years leveraged finance, valuation, restructuring and legal experience.

The appointment of three new board members concludes Emtec’s leadership transition plan which was initiated last year with the appointment of Sunil Misra as CEO and President.

Executive Chairman and Founder Dinesh Desai will continue in his role and focus on long term strategy.

Rick Johnson, Emtec’s VP of Operations, has stepped into an expanded role as Emtec’s Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Mr. Johnson has overall responsibility for Emtec’s Finance, Legal and Compliance, and HR functions.

Ravi Chennupati, Emtec’s Director of Finance, has been promoted to Chief Accounting Officer and will continue to lead Emtec’s accounting functions.
