A US based convention planning organization needed a partner to design, implement and manage a comprehensive IT environment for a large convention within a very short timeframe of 3 weeks.
They required a highly secure IT architecture to support up to 250 employees with access to cloud-based tools and custom software deployed on site as well as BYOD functionality.
Within a 10-day period, Emtec’s team designed, procured and implemented a complete technical environment including systems, secure highspeed networking and data circuits, a cloud virtual data center with data and BYOD security, and an office 365 environment with azure active directory, identity management, data management and file collaboration services to support multi-tiered security and access requirements. Cat6 wiring was installed across multiple floors to support network connectivity and fully equipped collaboration spaces.
Once live, Emtec’s team provided onsite and on-call end-user helpdesk, deskside, system, and network support for onsite and remote users, as well as managed security services including active threat management.
