The session, “Decision time: On-Prem Platform Maintenance Versus the Cloud” will be held Tuesday, March 19 at 3:10 p.m. in Texas III.  This session will offer attendees an opportunity to learn about the on-premise platform upgrade mentioned above, and will then segue into a comparative discussion about the perceptions and misconceptions around cloud solutions and their impact organizationally.  Although the Utilities industry is not considered an early adopter on Cloud technologies, Emtec has implemented strategic Oracle Cloud solutions in several utilities. With more than 100 successful Cloud implementations in multiple industries, Emtec will share their experiences and lessons learned as they relate to organizational impacts and efficiencies.
